Hi Guys,
Hope you are all well. I have a Leisure 22 in Faversham, Kent. I have been working on her now for a while as a project but I am currently working on two seperate boats and will be doing most of the work on the Colvic Falcon 17 that I have.
The reason I am giving this away is that she still needs a fair bit of work. I have done the exterior paint work to a reasonable level and I got her put back in the water about 11 months ago. The area the boat is located is in a creek in Oare and it is tidal so they sit on the mud when the tide is out. Structurally she is sound and needs some TLC. All the sails are included. I have spent a weekend down on the creek in it with a friend in the summer as we were working on a boat next to it and it wasn't a bad nights sleep to be fair but you will want to put a bit of work making her comfortable.
I would love to carry on working on her but I just don't have the time. If nobody wants it I might lift it out and cut it up as I am paying for the mooring on it but would be a shame to see it get scrapped.
If anyone is interested let me know I would be more than happy to meet you down there.
For some reason I cannot add pictures so let me know if you would like any.
Kind Regards
Chris

Re: Leisure 22 for free
Hi Chris - I'm in a similar dilemma with my L23 and a L17. The L17 has sadly almost fallen off my overall to-do list, but don't have heart to scrap it. Scouts not interested due to their requirement for a very highly qualified leader. Meanwhile my L23 renovation is almost complete wip. I really hope you are able to find a new home for your L22, but if you have to go down the scrap route I would be interested in the port front main cabin window, and the front stbd porthole window.
Long time since I've been to Faversham!
Cheers, Allan

No worries I will do mate. As for the front two port holes, the starboard side one is broken and the locking section has sheered off. I will PM you later with some pictures
